We believe that every student is a potential content producer, and if their content requires a place to be published to the world wide community, here we are. Like what Youtube does somehow, but we think with less barriers cause there's no need to know edit, or record videos to publish your great content, just write it well, bring this together and link it to the platform.😎🌹 And living in Brazil, with high social inequality indices, we hope we can make easy to people share their learning, to they learn more, and more learning be available to who can't afford as well. A super-simple system to put buttons in your Notion docs. It's so easy to publish a Notion doc, that people often use it for a homepage, docs, courses, all manner of public stuff — but the hacks to make something look/feel like a clickable button are wonky. With this, you can make a button (aka a styled link), and make it pretty — using simple controls, fully functional Tailwind, or even custom CSS — and embed it in no time.

Techswag \_Styling beyond your CSS Techswag aims to be the one place where tech lovers can find all their favourite swag available for sale. Granted, some swag such as Vercel's cup with a cork base are for employees only, while others such as Supabase's hackathon gold t-shirt can only be won if you attain the honorific title as their hackathon winner (or maybe you just have $1,000,000 to spare). However, many of them are for sale, and we aim to showcase (and link you there) on Techswag. Live site techswag.io (Yes, we are so committed to the cause—and we love tech swag that much—that we got an .io domain just for this 🔥 ) All Star Team Built with Next.js. Deployed on Vercel. Powered by Supabase. Usage of Supabase Database Brands, swag and categories are stored on separate tables. Could have taken normalisation a little further, but at this stage, it felt like an overkill. Logged in users can post new brands and swag on a protected route—that directly updates these tables. While we love the Supabase platform UI, building a submission form speeds up the process as we do not need to recall how Netflix is brand_id: 18. Realtime updates The feature really shines on the product/brand submission forms. When a user makes a submission under 'Add Brands', the dropdown selector for brands in the 'Add Products' detects the change and updates in a flash. Or, as they say, in realtime. This subscription feature is simple, but saves an unnecessary refresh, which speeds up the uploading process. Authentication I needed a log in for admins to post information. The initial idea was to prevent sign-ups with email/password, but I really wanted to play with Supabase's magic links, so a decision was made. Storage We needed to store swag images in our storage as tech firms have a habit of unlisting dated swag, which wouldn't work well for us. Every image posted goes through the storage first for the public URL it is submitted as a datbase entry. Life after Hackathon Upserting Instead of having to add new brands and products seperately, upserting would make the process smoother. Sorting by Brands Currently, products are sorted by categories. Let's bring in the big boys, shall we? Revamp The UI has some way to go. We aim to do a full frontend revamp before bringing this site to more tech swag lovers. Motivations The objective of this hackathon was to let us play with the best of what Supabase and Next.js has to offer—that was key. Coming in late into the hackathon, the idea has to be something that we were deeply interested in—yes, our deep interest lies in tech swags—but is something that can be completed on time while allowing us to test out the various features of Supabase. Working on this has increased our confidence in taking on this All-Star stack for an upcoming product. Well, this was fun—we hope you enjoyed it too.

Mintbase X Supabase We are a team of two fullstacq devs and blockchain enthusiasts, TheReshma( project is an app which lets you browse, like and comment NFTs from Mintbase on the NEAR blockchain, equipped with light 🌞 and dark 🌙 mode. We chose NEAR because it lives up to the promises of web3, it brings all the features, security and performance of Ethereum v2 with the advantage that it's already here and ready to use. Through my background in AI, I have my own love/hate relationship with graphs and was all-in when I saw this hackathon announced🤿 The app pulls NFTs as graph data from the public Mintbase graph, uses Supabase Auth to manage users and Supabase tables for the NFT, Like and Comment data. The Supabase graphQL plugin and the auto-generated schemas enables fetching and posting data in a powerful and effective way. How to use Log in with your google account. Your name provided by Google will be used as your id for likes and comments. Browse the feed of latest Minbase NFTs on the test- or mainnet. A click on the image will open a magnified Card with the NFT image and description. Like or Dislike each NFT just like in the old days when having prejudice wasn't a crime and judging the worq of others was the most fun thing to do with your friends. For the BDP folks, we implemented a non-tracable way to change or delete your Like/Dislike for when you change your mind. The cherry of human interaction is verbal, thus let lose and Comment your unasked opinion and/or read other users brainfarts 💨 but keep in mind that those are meant for eternity. Just imagine how much more fun Twitter would be if no1 could edit or delete your posts ✨ With the 'favorite' button you can save an NFT and find it back later on the 'Favorites' page. One click on the NFTs avatar will send you to the corresponding Mintbase Store, where you can even buy and be the new proud owner of your fav NFTs. No worries, we also have full understanding if you're broke and prefer to screenshot. Life is about living and letting live. This leads me to round up with this decription with a question to the Supabase hackathon organizers: Which trees are you planting for these project? My preference are Ombu trees. That being said, I hope you mint some dope NFTs of those trees so we can judge them here 🍵 Live demo nftea-base.netlify.app

I decided to submit a [weekly learning group]( project at the end of October. The primary objective was to learn some of the newer features we expect with React 18 and simultaneously try Supabase. Five of the apps I built in the following weeks also used Supabase. Remix was released publicly on November 26th. I had anticipated this and decided to wait a few days to start the fifth project. The first thing I focused on was authentication. Remix is a server framework, but there are no clear server-side authentication options with Supabase. Weeks five and six included submissions where some users could log in without issue, but in some cases where a user had an ad-blocker, the client would not set the Remix cookie properly. That brings us to week seven, where I decided to try and fix the authentication issue as a focus. During week seven, we would build a chat application. I self-hosted Supabase to make some changes to the authentication flow. Full disclosure, the application I am submitting for the Supabase hackathon was coincidentally built during the same week. On December 3rd, I started with a boilerplate I am building that has remix, supabase and tailwind. I patched GoTrue to include the accesstoken on the redirect to my server. With the accesstoken, I set a cookie directly on redirect. I make the token available to the client for data fetching without reloading the chat and real-time subscriptions. With these changes, the participants who had previously been unable to log in without an incognito window could now log in without an issue. Week 1 - QuickNote( * Client only Week 3 - VoteNow( Week 5 - typr( Week 7 - [Chat@@]( up the self-hosting this week coincided with hitting my limit on Organizations and Projects. I'm excited about where the supabase platform is going. I have always been a big fan of SQL. The past seven weeks have been an excellent opportunity for me to learn some of the features of Postgres. RLS, in particular, has been easy to ignore with an express server available. Overall the GitHub issues, open-source code and discussion boards have been a great way to gain insight into how others use the platform. I found this repo to be an incredible example, the tests especially. few things I need to look into next: refreshing the access_token database schema testing, specifically RLS graphql extension Going to try and add storage tonight for image uploads to hit the quad.
